🔄 Time Lens Device Update Procedure
🧰 What you need
A computer (Windows or Mac)
The USB cable supplied with your Time Lens
The update file : TIMELENS UPDATE
Your Time Lens device
✅ Step 1: Download the update file
Go to the official website or the link provided for the update
Download the folder named TIMELENS UPDATE BY CLICKING HERE
Save it somewhere easy to access (e.g. Desktop or Downloads)
🔌 Step 2: Connect Time Lens device to computer
Turn off your Time Lens device if it is on
Connect it to the computer via the USB cable
The device will appear on the computer as a USB flash drive or removable disk
🗂️ Step 3: Transfer the update files
Copy and paste this file directly into the device folder at the root of the Time Lens device (not into a subfolder)
📌 Important: Do not transfer the folder itself, only the files inside
⚠️ Step 4: Eject the device properly
Once the files are copied, safely eject the device
On Windows: Right-click on the USB icon → “Eject Time Lens”
On Mac: Right-click on the disk icon → “Eject”
Never unplug the device without ejecting it properly to avoid any risk of corruption
🔁 Step 5: Start the update
Once the device is unplugged, turn it on
The screen will display an "UPDATE" logo
This indicates that the update is in progress
Do not turn off the device during this phase
✅ Step 6: End of the update
Once the update is complete, the device will automatically restart or indicate that the update is complete
Now you can use it with the new version installed
🔒 Important precautions
⚠️ Never interrupt the update process (unplugging, turning off the device)
✅ Make sure the device has enough battery or is plugged in during operation
📂 Only transfer files inside the TIMELENS UPDATE folder
📂 Do not change the name or contents of the update files
